2008 GOALS	See what is in store for the new year! IGPA will be working hard to achieve every one of the goals below improving the quality of life for the grain community in Idaho.

ü The IGPA will pursue an immigration policy that provides a stable, legal agriculture workforce;

ü The IGPA will continue to represent grain producers on many committees tackling issues like wildlife depredation, irrigation, commodity indemnity fund, dam breaching, endangered species, and the NRCS Technical Advisory committee;

ü The IGPA will seek reform to federal crop insurance programs to better address producer losses on a farm-specific level;

ü The IGPA will continue to serve in leadership capacities with national farm groups and coalitions;

ü The IGPA will continue to and promote and seek new opportunities for grain producers in the renewable energy arena.
